In the Field

My name is Rich — everyone calls me Scrappy. I've spent 20+ years as a union pipefitter, working with my hands every single day. Four years ago I picked up a hammer, grabbed some cheap steel, and made my first knife. I haven't put the hammer down since.

I've always felt drawn to knife making — something about turning raw steel into a tool that lasts a lifetime just clicked. I'm always learning new techniques, studying the craft, and pushing myself to become a maker you can trust with your hard-earned money.

My favorite part of this whole thing? Forging a blade for each customer that fits their needs and their style. Every knife I make is built for the person carrying it.

Every blade starts with a hammer and a vision.

Built by Hand

Every blade is hammer forged and hand finished — no shortcuts, no production lines.

Always Learning

Four years in and I'm still studying the craft. Better technique means a better blade in your hands.

Made for You

Custom orders are my favorite work. Tell me what you need and I'll forge it.
